How to Bridge

You've linked your wallet to Xena Finance, but you've noticed your Base network balance is zero. No need to worry - this guide will walk you through the process of transferring funds from other networks to the Base network.

Step 1

There are plenty of bridges out there, but when it comes to safety and transparency, we recommend sticking with the Base network's primary bridge. You can find it at https://bridge.base.org/deposit

Once again, we connect our wallet by pressing a white "connect" button on the top right of the screen and selecting our wallet of choice from the menu as shown in the screenshot

Step 2

After connecting your preferred wallet, you'll be directed to a new screen. Here, you'll have the option to specify the amount of Ethereum you want to transfer to the Base network. Once you've decided on an amount, kickstart the transaction by hitting the 'Deposit ETH' button.

Step 3

Simply approve the transaction requests that pop up from your wallet, and you're all set!

Note that bridging times can vary from 5 to 30 minutes, depending on the current congestion of the network.
